Orthopedic Physical Therapy

We are one of physical therapy groups in the area to use the following three modalities to treat patients with slight swelling, pain and stiffness:

HIVAMAT: A unique modality that “kneads” soft tissue with a gentle, vibrating mechanical force. It requires minimal external pressure by the hands of the therapist and has many benefits including pain relief, decreased edema, improved sensitivity, decreased spasms, increased relaxation and an immediate feeling of well-being. Hivamat application is ideal for patients that are very acute and not quite ready for therapeutic, “hands-on” massage.
